Basswood Canopy is a NEW Limited Edition of 200 signed and numbered giclee prints on canvas. Available as a gallery wrap or framed as shown.
In Laura's own words: "This painting was inspired during a hike in a nearby park last June. I was struck by the beauty of the sunlight behind these amazing rounded heart-shaped leaves, and the perfect linear patterns they made. Friends who know trees informed me it was Basswood. The glowing canopy of leaves over the still water gave a feeling of joyful serenity--is there such a thing? Well, the painting and prints hope to convey that same feeling to you!"

6/2/2013 - NEW BRETT JOHNSON MORRIS CHAIRS ! ! !

For a couple of years now, Brett Johnson has been dreaming of crafting a Morris Chair as an addition to his Craftsmen line of accessory furniture. Not a simple task because in addition to selecting a design(s), there are new issues to resolve such as the steam bending of wood, learning seat cushion construction and how to do upholstery.

Here’s the result of Brett’s effort being introduced this weekend at the Arts & Crafts Chicago Show:
